Owner's comments : The first three pics are of my SGR Dayton kit circa 1967. Sizes are 13/14PT/16/20. The kit is a little rough but all original. This kit has been in Australia all it's life. I use it a lot as it's a bundle of fun to play. The Marching Drum is a Ducco Cleveland Snare probably circa 1964 in amazing condition. It is played by my father annually in my Pop's ANZAC day march and then put away in a box. Then the last pic is of my Black Onyx Dayton transition kit. Sizes are 13/16/22. The kit is almost mint - and it sounds fantastic. I only use it for recordings however I did tour with it twice in 2002 for fun. This kit has also been in Australia all it's life and has not been tampered with. The snare is a wooden Dyna replica - I put marm swirl on it. This drum was originally a fun project but the sound is so awesome that it's almost first choice. The shell was made by a mate of mine - Paul Warry. He makes the shells for Sleishman drums. |
