Owner's comments : It started with a recover of a 3-piece set. Then another damaged drum caught my eye. Pretty soon they grew into an 8-piece "family". Each member started as somebody's "good idea" I'm sure, but resulted in abused and holed shells with real needs. I just had to step in and rescue these poor souls. Over the last year, new members were acquired from the Bay, advice and parts from the Forum, and covering from Precision Drum. Thanks to everyone who assisted with my "family". Today the 10" shell arrived home and they all wanted to get together for a Family Portrait. No need to worry about the family now. They have soft fleece lined bags to sleep in until I take them out for a bit of fun. |

| Owner's comments : Here is another rescue set of Rogers shells I finally finished - after a year of life getting in the way. All the shells were in need of help. Ended up with 12-13-16-18-22 with a Holiday snare and wraped COB Powertone. The Powertone had a hazy center band that would not rub out, but the chrome was not broken or really damaged. So it got a center band of Red Onyx as well. |
