This kit is set up in left hand playing position, because the owner is a "Giccho".
It means a "lefty" in Japanese. ;-)

The color finish of this kit is the "NATURAL MAPLE #091" .
This color appeared newly in 1978.

We can know that the cost of the new color models were a little expensive.

By the way, Bass Drum Spur Tips were weakened by the age.

Details of "MEMRILOC" hardware

"MEMRILOC" appeared with "Big R" in 1975.

This is a thumb screw for shell mount receiver.

It has nicks at the tip.

So, it can hold the toms firmly!

This is a thumb screw for FT leg receiver.

It doesn't have nicks...

This is the multiple tom center assy.

It is the way of dual tom tom.

At that time, there were no natural finishes yet.

These are three kinds of Natural color finishes from Rogers Japanese catalogs in 1980.

Though these are all XP-8, XP-8 is not marked on the BD logo.
And, the batter heads are not XP-8's Power Dot heads but CS heads.

I guess that these might be prototypes...
