1. How to Play

Beginning:
Put the four triangular pieces in the initial position.

During the game:
Slide the pieces without picking them up.

End:
Slip the red triangle through the hole in the front of the frame (Only the red one can go through).

2. Features

"Triangular Jam" is a new sliding piece puzzle (Designed by Hirokazu Iwasawa ©2003).
Unlike the orthodox puzzles of this genre, where you can only slide the pieces in straight directions, "Triangular Jam" requires you to move the pieces diagonally and rotate them.
Moreover, consisting of only four equivalent sized equilateral triangles in a square, "Triangular Jam" is mathematically very simple. But not so easy to solve!

1. How to Play

Beginning:
Put the four triangular pieces in the starting position.

During the game:
Slide the pieces without picking them up.

End:
Slip the blue triangle through the hole in the front of the frame (Only the blue one can go through).

2. Features

"Rightangular Jam" (designed by Hirokazu Iwasawa ©2003) is of the same genre as "Triangular Jam," another of iwahiro's puzzles.
To solve "Rightangular Jam" as well as "Triangular Jam," you must move pieces diagonally and rotate them. This is the big difference between these puzzles and the orthodox sliding piece puzzles.
With only four congruent triangles in the frame, "Rightangular Jam" is very simply constituted. But it's even more difficult than "Triangular Jam." Moreover, when (or if) you at last solve it, you'll surely be amazed at the subtleness of the moves. We hope you'll enjoy it.

3. Features

The simpler, the better―the designer thinks. "Rectangular Jam" (designed by Hirokazu Iwasawa ©2004) is the third, and probably the simplest, sliding piece puzzle of iwahiro's puzzle series. It consists of a square frame and four equivalent sized and shaped rectangles. That's it! Isn't such a puzzle too easy? ― Actually, maybe not. It can only be said that the size of a piece is very delicately calculated. Anyway, please try it.

Tangled Gym "Jewel Box"
Not available

Price: N/A

1. How to play

(The left diagram shows the starting position)

The "Jewel Box" consists of a metal frame (shaped like a cube with a diamond) and a metal chain.
First, try to remove the chain from the frame. Then, try to return it to the starting position.

2. Features

What we call "Tangled Gym" is a new kind of disentanglement puzzle consisting of two parts: (1) a metal frame with a beautiful shape based on a cube, and (2) a metal chain.
We have two Tangled Gyms now (The other is "Bird Cage," coming soon to the website).
Tangled Gyms are part of the wire-and-string puzzle family, which are a subcategory of disentanglement puzzles. To solve a typical orthodox wire-and-string puzzle, you need, technically speaking, almost only a topological perspective, in which the length of the wire or chain is not so important. However, the length of the chain of a Tangled Gym is so short that you cannot solve it only from a topological perspective.
The "Jewel Box" (designed by Hirokazu Iwasawa ©2004) is, among others, an especially simple design but also very difficult. We hope you'll enjoy its subtleness as well as its beautiful shape.

Invitation for a manufacturer of metal frames
We had previously planned to sell the Tangled Gyms. However, we were unable to start production as our manufacturer had to close their operations.
Currently we are looking for an alternative manufacturer of metal frames. If you are interested in our contract, please contact us via e-mail for more information.

1. How to play

Mmmm Puzzle consists of a box, its lid and four identical M-shaped pieces.

Problem1: Try to place three of the M-shaped pieces into the box and close the lid properly.

Problem2: Try to place all of the four pieces into the box and close the lid properly.

2. Features
Mmmm Puzzle is a put-together, and specifically box packing, puzzle. It is very simple as there are only four equivalent sized and shaped pieces which you need place into the box. Moreover, there remains a lot of room in the box, whether you get the answer or not. Don't miss it.

Note
Mmmm puzzle, especially with a lid with a special block, was designed by Hirokazu Iwasawa ©2004. But there is a puzzle designed by a Ukrainian puzzle designer Serhiy Grabarchuk which is based on the same mathematical idea as Mmmm puzzle. Both he and I admit that those puzzles were invented independently.
